AJ Linville Foundation

Team AJ, the fundraising arm of the foundation, is a group of adults and children who have committed financially to supporting children’s charities in Forsyth County through the AJ Linville Foundation. The goal of Team AJ and The AJ Linville Foundation is to make life as wonderful and comfortable as possible for children and their families.  Together, as a team, we can make a difference.  Each member of Team AJ has committed to raising awareness about the mission of the AJ Linville Foundation. Some will be participating in Team activities and some are committing to directly helping with the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. 

  Each year money raised by Team AJ will be gifted to a local children’s charity through the AJ Linville Memorial Fund on his birthday, March 9th. To become a part of Team AJ, we ask that you donate a minimum of $25.  100% of the donation you make will go towards growing the AJ Linville Foundation Memorial Fund so that each year we can continue to make meaningful donations to childrens charities.  It is important to note that 100% of the money raised by you and Team AJ will go back into childrens charities throughout the coming years.  100% of our operating expenses are covered from our corporate sponsors.   As our fund grows we will be able to gift more and more money each year.  With your $25 you will receive TEAM AJ apparel to wear at all of our events!

Team AJ plans to host several social events throughout the year for its members, including group bike rides, group fun runs and a summer lake party.  The largest event of the year for Team AJ, will be an event held on September 20th called the Angels Race Triathlon, held at Tanglewood Park.  Although we know many Team AJ members will be unable to do the full triathlon, we hope that as many members as possible will join us in memorializing AJ in this great event.  All Team AJ Members whether participating or spectating at this triathlon will bear AJ’s name on their arms throughout the day.  Whether you are a triathlete, great spectator or volunteer, we hope you will join forces with our team.If you are interested in joining forces with our team in order to make a difference in the lives of children and can commit to donating or raising $25 let us know by clicking here.   Remember, you do not have to participate in the Angels Race as long as you come cheer on and support our team on race day!
